Howard Blank – auctioneer extraordinaire for 20th anniversary gala

Howard is a solid partner for our team and has been in our corner from the get go. We are lucky to have him donate his time, energy and work for us. He will be conducting the live auction at our 20th anniversary gala fundraiser on December 1, 2017. Howard Blank has been a member of the gaming and entertainment industry for over 30 years. Howard is principal of Point Blank Entertainment, Senior Advisor at All-In Advisory Group and serves as Board member, spokesperson and advisor to Victory Square Technologies. Howard is proud to donate his time and efforts at over 75 charitable gala events each year. Howard currently serves as past President of Variety, B.C., and acts as Vice President for BC Entertainment Hall of Fame, Board member for BC Foundation for the Arts, advisor to the MOB Museum in Nevada, and North West 9-11 Memorial Co-Chair. Odd Squad gala headlined by Hockey Night in Canada host Scott Oake

‘Back on Track’ event celebrates society’s 20th anniversary – still with the same VPD beat cops who started the society with a hard-hitting video on the reality of addiction Hockey Night in Canada host Scott Oake and his wife Anne will bring a personal perspective to the keynote speech at the Odd Squad Production Society’s 20th anniversary gala December 1, capping a day-long drug and gang prevention conference. Scott and Anne lost their 25-year-old son Bruce to a heroin overdose in 2011, and since then have been committed to making the tragic loss of their child into positive opportunities for others struggling with addiction. Global TV anchor Chris Gailus will be the gala’s master of ceremonies, auctioneer extraordinaire Howard Blank will conduct our live auction, while three-time Juno award-winning blues artist Jim Byrnes, special guest Paul Pigat, and All the Kings Men will perform.
