On Saturday 28th June 2008 the second Mentor International Prevention Awards Gala was held at the Polo Club Saint-Tropez. Presented by Mentor's President, Her Majesty the Queen of Sweden. these Awards recognised and celebrated promise and achievement in drug abuse prevention globally.

The 2008 Awards were presented in three categories: The Achievement Award recognises a drug prevention project that has been operating for at least 3 years, is based on sound principles of prevention, and has demonstrated success through evaluation. The Innovation Award recognises a project that integrates innovative approaches based on sound principles of prevention that shows promise for achieving successful prevention outcomes. Finally, the 'Big Idea' Youth Award is awarded to a youth or group of young people that proposes a new and innovative prevention initiative that could be undertaken and evaluated.

Although Odd Squad Productions did not receive an award this year we did receive Honorable Mention.
