 Chris has been a member of the Vancouver Police force since 1985. He has had a varied policing experience that has included six years of Patrol in the Downtown Eastside, three years as a School Liaison Officer, and five years in the Drug Squad. Chris is currently working as an investigator in the Integrated Provincial Unsolved Homicide Unit. Chris is working with Randy Miller (recovered addict from Through A Blue Lens) and several Western Hockey League teams to deliver drug education workshops to school-aged children, including the NHL-sponsored Hockey Education Reaching Out Society ( HEROS) for inner city youth. Chris was the executive producer of the ON THE BEAT compilation CD, an album of songs about the downtown eastside and themes of addiction written by local and international artists.
