Bio

Howard has been involved in the film & television industry for over 35 years. Howard specializes in productions that involve gaming scenes including but not limited to casinos, poker games, racing, sports betting, and saloons etc. Howard has served as credited Casino technical director / advisor on many productions including: Reindeer Games, Two For The Money, Walking Tall, 3000 Miles To Graceland, Blade, Blonde and Blonder, Masters of Horror, Finder’s Fee, Andromeda, My 5 Wives, and Beautiful Joe and Timeless.

Howard also provides expert promoted audience assistance by generating promotion and publicity for features and series’ that require unpaid extras (promoted audience members) for key scenes. Howard’s successful promoted audience features and series include: Rocky IV, The Accused, Saving Silverman, MacGyver, Psych, The X Files Finale, Josie and the Pussycats, The Raffle and Dark Angel.

Howard is an expert in the gaming industry and serves as CEO of Point Blank Entertainment Ltd. (www.pointblankshows.com)  Howard serves as a board director of Odd Squad and also volunteers on the boards of Variety BC, Zajac Ranch, The Mob Museum Las Vegas, and is the ambassador for the Cerebral Palsy Association of BC

Howard is the recipient of a number of awards and medals including:

Canadian Honours Sovereign Medal for Volunteers, BC Community Achievement Medal, Queen’s Jubilee Medal, Rotary International Paul Harris Fellowship, Variety Lifetime Achievement award, among others. Howard is also the recipient of the Canadian Gaming Lifetime Display of Excellence and Philanthropic awards.
