Bio

Rob is the former head of the Investigation Division of the Vancouver Police Department, during which all investigative units reported to him, including Homicide, Robbery/Assault/Arson, Sex Crimes, Domestic Violence, and Financial Crime. Rob is trained in Critical Incident Management, the principles of Major Case Management, Surveillance Tactics, and he has trained with the US Secret Service.

Since retiring as a superintendent, Rob was rehired by the Vancouver Police Department as a Fleet Manager. Rob has renewed the police fleet, making huge gains in both safety and technology. Rob has also procured tactical vehicles and vessels for the Department. Rob is a former president of the Odd Squad.

He is also involved in the development and production of TV shows as a creator, consultant, and contributor. Rob has also enjoyed a career as an automotive journalist, writing for multiple online and national print publications, including the Vancouver Sun and Province newspapers.
