e) Cross-Gender Searches

The job of searching has become more difficult as people identify as other genders (like 75 of them?).

Stories have come out where inmates have impregnated fellow inmates because of this gender fluidity nonsense.

The safest bet is to adhere to your Departmental policies regarding this political correctness regarding gender identity issues (be sure to use the correct pronoun—mine are Master/Sire).

PRO TIP: A cursory search of the waistband by a male officer on a female arrestee is acceptable (use back of hand, preferably with a witness present), but a policewoman should be summoned if possible (or note such a deficiency in a search).

Men generally don’t mind being searched by a female officer.

In any case, ensure privacy for searches of the more delicate areas of the body.
