Gangs and Guns 2020

In partnership with Safer Schools Together, Odd Squad Productions Society presents four educational modules providing an impactful, fact based, exploration of the current gang landscape in British Columbia.

These modules look at the current problem, the history and how we got here, with a focus on how gangs recruit youth. These modules also look at the impact of gangs on the community and family involved. This is delivered through interviews with subject matter experts in the field of gangs from educators, councillors, to law enforcement. We also look at the prevention and education, what is working in the community including initiatives such as Her Time and Game Ready Fitness. Module 4 is a case study looking at the story of two Vancouver gang members – the Dhak brothers.
